Season 2 Maps and Modes Revealed for Halo Infinite

halo1

In less than two weeks Lone Wolves will be given to the masses in Halo Infinite. May 3rd is the day you are waiting for. There were two new maps previously revealed in Catalyst and Breaker, and now there will be three new modes. Some you may even recognize from the past.

King of the Hill is the first mode to be revealed in its big return. In this version two teams will fight to capture a neutral hill that spawns on the map. When one player enters the hill it will start gathering points per second and when the bar is full it scores 1 point for that team and a new hill will form somewhere else. It feels like capture to me from COD.

Land Grab is the second game mode that we will get to play. In this mode there are three zones that each team will try to control, control points, and capturing them will gain you 1 point.  When all three zones are captured there will be a short break as new zones spawn.

Last Spartan Standing is the final mode which will be added on May 3rd. In this mode it is a free-for-all with 12 players will join into a big team battle map. You get your loadout and 5 respawns. Once the respawns are gone you will be out and have to wait for the final survivor to be crowned. If you get a kill in the match you will be allowed to upgrade your weapon as well.

There are a lot more in-depth details about these modes that were discussed during the blog, which can be found here in full. If you are ready for Season 2 then get ready as it drops soon.
