Season 26 began yesterday, April 15, 2022, after the most recent update. Season 26 brings in some new items for players to explore including themes and new cosmetic rewards. The first theme is Echoing Nightmare, and it will put you into the battle of your life with an event that will have increasing difficulty.
There are new seasonal cosmetics in the form of armor, a portrait border, and a new standard for your character. The armor is a set of boots and pants from the Conqueror Set. To sweeten the pot on cosmetics there is a new end of journey reward in the form of the Rakkis’ Remembrance portrait and the Toothsome Trooper Pet.
There are new items to gather from rifts in the form of Petrified Screams of the fallen Nephalem. These will allow you to transmutate them into doorways in which you will game EXP, Blood Shards, Legendary Items and more. Greater rifts have also been improved with more EXP rewards and three new maps are now available. The newest rift which might be rare, will be Orek’s Dream where your level is basically that, a dreamlike instance.
