Over the weekend, the Digital Extremes team wrapped up a thrilling Devstream looking at the highly anticipated fantasy RPG Soulframe. The preview wrapped up with a teaser, giving players a look at what’s to come in 2025. While just under a minute long it crammed in public access to Preludes, a new Omen Beast, fresh environments to explore, and the highly requested wolf mount.
Soulframe Preludes is more than just a prerelease e name, it’s 1an opportunity for Envoys to test and influence the development of Soulframe ahead of full release. Preludes is a pre-alpha phase that will soon get a new mount, Omen best, and more.
Soulframe’s first player social hub, Silent Rose Cave. Around this refuge, players can chat with NPCs, accept new side quests, meet other Envoys, prepare and party up before taking on a range of new environmental hazards or challenges that await in dungeons.
Envoy’s will also be able to join the hunt in Orengall’s new Fable and forge a new Pact with the wolf. This new mount is a highly anticipated feature and looks fantastic in the teaser trailer.
Players who access the Preludes testing will also soon find TennoCon 2024’s Envoy character creation live. Adding an immense new range of options to character look and feel, this is just one of the diverse UI and quality tweaks announced during the weekend update.
