The events of the game occur in a whale-worshipping, Slavic-inspired world boasting rich lore. You are playing as Kazimir, the healer who sets out on a journey to find a ritual to cure his wounded soul. Along the way, he will meet many memorable characters and use the light of his staff to fight Miasma, a mysterious affliction that threatens the world.
