A new update to Torment: Tides of Numenera has been released. It is called Servant of the Tides and comes packed with new content as well as game improvements.
Servant of the Tides
Players will find a lot of new content, most notably Oom, is added. He is the first new companion since the game launched earlier this year.
Other features include:
- new lore and character stories
- UI updates to the inventory
- Tier 5 and 6 added
- balance improvements to Crisis
- zoom functions in the Options Menu
- UI and quest fixes
This update is now out on Steam, and we’ll be getting it to GOG and other stores as soon as possible. Our strong recommendation is to start a brand-new playthrough to experience these improvements, as the new content is best experienced from the start of the game (and Oom must be added to the party during Sagus Cliffs).
Of course, those of you who have chosen to play Torment on consoles won’t be left out – this update will be coming free to you in the near future as well!
You can read the full patch notes on the Torment: Tides of Numemera site as well as check out the update letter on KickStarter.

Awesome. I love this game. I do wish they’d deploy patches to Steam and GoG at the same time.
