Akindo – Merchant’s Road, a free to play mix of haggling and heavy hitting combat is now available for English Speaking audiences.
Developer Zoo Games has confirmed that the team behind Akindo – Merchant’s Road has finally finished an English port of this inventive mix of trading blows. The free to play adventure is now available via the iOS App Store and Google Play Store. The English release of this brings the original Japanese release to a worldwide audience, who must rebuild the world in the aftermath of an epic battle between the Demon King and Humankind.
As you explore this pixel art perfect world of Akindo, things are teetering on the edge. As a humble merchant, you’ll travel the roads and aim to rejuvenate he lives of its inhabitants. Like any good RPG, this means building a team of fellows, each of which bring their own skills to the challenge. This party of unexpecting heroes will battle their way through the wilds, collecting materials to build a trading empire. It’s all a little like Moonlighter with a JPRG twist.
