Kabam has announced that its fun and innovative sim, Shop Titans, has officially launched for PC on Steam. Players are challenged to “craft and sell epic gear to become a master shopkeeper”.
Most players have experienced an RPG of one sort or another. The favorite stopping point when returning to town is the local shopkeeper. It’s always a fun time to look through his or her inventory hoping to find a gear upgrade or that rare epic item for sale at a price that can be afforded. In Kabam’s twist on the theme, players will build up and launch their own shop and will be able to craft items to sell. They’ll engage in negotiations with “customers” to get the best price possible for their items. This will be “supported by hysterical character-driven banter between your Champions and City Workers”. A unique feature also allows Shopkeepers to build their own dungeon-delving squad of Champions to live vicariously through their adventures.
