Strap on your VR headset and keep plenty of ammo ready for the announcement of immersive bullet hell shooter, Desperate: Vladivostok
PM Studios and MiroWin, LLC have just announced their dip into VR with a new and intriguing looking 360 degree bullet hell that is set to come to Oculus Quest, Oculus Rift, and PlayStation VR,. Aiming for a summer 2022 release, this genre twisting experience comes crashing onto our radars with a comic book aesthetic reminiscent of XIII and a banging soundtrack that should keep players pumping out shells until nothing else is left standing.
While you dive into the criminal history of a hired killer in the post-Soviet cyberpunk setting, enemies will come at a furious pace. You’ll need to hit, shoot, and dodge across more than 50 hand-crafted scenes of a furious combat puzzle. As you become the centre of this story and the dangerous crossfire that ensues, you’ll have plenty of different weapons, two hands, and the odd explosive to power through.
With a development team based mainly out of Ukraine, it seems even more incredible that MiroWin have pieced together a stunning looking thrill ride. Vladimir Kozinyi, CEO of Desperate: Vladivostok creator MiroWin studio, notes that “a number of clients are afraid of entering into a business relationship with companies in a country where military action is ongoing. That said, he adds that others have reached out with previously unavailable opportunities in an effort to support Ukraine specifically, and those relationships have allowed MiroWin to keep some semblance of normalcy in its workflow throughout the war.”
Now, we get to see the messy, bloody, and generally chaotic result as it comes exploding out of the chamber on Oculus and PlayStation Storefronts soon. Check out more on the official Twitter feed for the most recent news.
