Fans of the long-running Sid Meier’s Civilization series will be happy to hear that a new expansion for Civ VI is now live for PC. The expansion Rise and Fall builds on Civ VI’s robust systems and adds a host of new features and mechanics for you to dive into. The expansion offers new options for experienced players giving them new and exciting ways to develop their civilization through the ages.
Some of the new features include the introduction of the Dark and Golden ages, each offering unique and specific challenges that if conquered could lead to some bonuses for your civilization in the next age. A new city-specific loyalty system has also been implemented allowing the player to capture the hearts and loyalty of free cities or even risk losing your own cities if not handled well. Another interesting system is the Emergencies mechanic which allows weaker civilizations to join a pact against a larger, stronger civilization and earn rewards and bonuses based on the outcome.
