Bethesda and Arkane Studios have posted a brand new Redfall trailer just in time for Halloween. Viewers are treated to a peek at the vampires running rampant through the town of Redfall, Massachusetts. If those are not scary enough, developers also introduce a human faction that’s nearly as terrifying.
Halloween tastes different here. What better way to get into the spirit than with a new trailer highlighting some of the game’s creepiest bloodsuckers. From the devious Angler to the ever-vigilant Watcher, this is just a bite of what you and your squad will face as you fight to take back Redfall.
While the video begins with a pithy “visit calm seas and sunny skies,” it’s abundantly clear that there is some serious stuff going down. Viewers will feel their heartbeats increase with a few well-timed jump scares with vampires appearing almost out of nowhere. In addition, a number of the town’s environments are showcased that give a definite Stephen King vibe to the game.
Those looking ahead to the game’s release still have to wait a bit longer. While the video certainly ramps up excitement, it doesn’t provide any window for when players will be able to sink their teeth into the game. However, Xbox, Game Pass, and PC players should be somewhat mollified that it’s likely they’ll see it in early 2023.
