Bethesda’s going to make everyone’s holidays a bit brighter this year. You’ll be able to literally jump into your Skyrim, Doom and Fallout 4 starting in November.
Skyrim, Fallout 4, Doom VR OH MY!
People have been less than thrilled with the current line up of VR games. Bethesda is hoping to change that perception with its huge line up of games. These are all games that have been widely praised in “traditional” form. Will they make the transition to VR? We’ll know later this year.
So here’s what you want to know:
- Skyrim VR for PSVR is coming on November 17th
- Doom VFR for PSVR & HTC Vive is coming December 1st
- Fallout 4 VR for HTC Vive is coming December 12th – this is an exclusive release
You may never leave your house again, am I right?
At the moment, there is no information on when, or if, all three will be available onĀ all headsets. You’ll notice a conspicuous lack of Oculus Rift compatibility. While there is no definitive word, it isn’t far-fetched to assume that the ZeniMax – Facebook legal tussle over Rift technology may be behind the omission.
Players headed to this weekend’s QuakeCon will be able to play all three.
You can check out the full QuakeCon line up of tournaments and events on the Bethesda blog.
