Focus Home Interactive and Saber Interactive have announced that patch 5.0 for off-roading sim SnowRunner will be arriving on both PC and consoles on June 9th if all goes according to plan. The update will be adding a variety of new features including working mirrors on all platforms. To celebrate the occasion, the team released a special trailer you can find above.
SnowRunner puts you behind the wheel of a huge roster of 40 customizable off-road vehicles from manufacturers like Chevrolet, Caterpillar, Freightliner and more in some of the world’s most untamed, unforgiving environments. There are three new regions with 11 sandbox maps to explore, with more than three times the square mileage of the original MudRunner. These interconnected maps mean missions can connect between them, sending you on epic adventures as you drive to conquer the wilderness – alone or with up to three friends.
The major new features coming in the SnowRunner patch include:
All Platforms
- New Taymyr Rift Map, with new missions
- 2 vehicle skins (Derry Longhorn 3194, KHAN Lo4F)
- Multiple Save Slots
- Multiplayer: Players can now change the region together
PC only
- Mods: installed mods counter display
- Force Feedback setting on steering wheels
- Flycam on mod maps
Consoles
- Working mirrors
Steering wheel support for consoles could unfortunately not be included in the update but should arrive within a week or two of Update 5.0. The update also includes a variety of bug fixes and QoL improvements.
