The developers from Saber Interactive and Focus Home Interactive have shared the overview trailer for the upcoming off-road driving simulator SnowRunner. You will be able to tackle a wide variety of contracts that will take you across different locations and provide a multitude of challenges. Are you ready to take on nature itself as it throws mud, water, and snow your way to get you off-track?
The developers boast the game’s physics system that is capable of accurately simulating natural terrain and water, making your life as an off-road driver miserable but also full of excitement and challenge. Mud, snow and ice all have their own physical behaviors. The system takes into account vehicle weight, tire spin and even the water content of the terrain.
SnowRunner puts you behind the wheel of a huge roster of 40 customizable off-road vehicles from manufacturers like Chevrolet, Caterpillar, Freightliner and more in some of the world’s most untamed, unforgiving environments. There are three new regions with 11 sandbox maps to explore, with more than three times the square mileage of the original MudRunner. These interconnected maps mean missions can connect between them, sending you on epic adventures as you drive to conquer the wilderness – alone or with up to three friends.
SnowRunner launches April 28 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via the Epic Games Store. A Season Pass is available as part of the Premium Edition, featuring new vehicles, maps, activities and much more over several massive constant drops in the months following release.
