Song of Nunu, from Riot Forge, just released You and Me Makes Us and its definitely not a KPOP Anthem!
While Riot’s League of Legends heroes are well known for their musical adventures, the team of Willump and Nunu aren’t exactly natural born popstars. In something of an unexpected move, however, Riot Forge just released a new music video featuring this adorable pair. The musical interlude comes ahead of the launch date for their upcoming platforming adventure, Song of Nunu. Developed by Riot Forge and Tequilla Works, the new tale takes place in the Freeload but hits closer to the likes of Rime than LoL.
The new musical accompaniment to the duo’s upcoming outing cements the role of music in Song of Nunu. While Willump is capable of grappling with the more physical tasks in the treacherous wild, and being a Yeti sized sled, Nunu is set to explore the history of his tribe and the Freljord through music. If the title is any indication, You and Me Makes us is centred around the friendship between the two main protagonists that make up this heartwarming tale.
That means you probably shouldn’t expect anything like K/DA or Heartsteel, Riot’s latest virtual idol teamup. We tried out Song of Nunu during Gamescom 2023 and I can’t wait to chill out with these two when Song of Nunu arrives across Nintendo Switch, Steam, GOG and Epic Games on 1 November. You can check out more about what’s out there over on the official website now.
