Ubisoft is reporting today that South Park: The Fractured But Whole, the follow up to 2015’s South Park: Stick of Truth, is being delayed to fiscal 2017-2018, which translates to April 2017-March 2018. As for why? Well, the only real reason given is so that the developer can have more time to make sure the sequel meets the lofty expectations of its fans.
Our thought on the South Park Delay?
These things happen. The original game was delayed 2 or 3 times as well, if you recall, and it turned out to be a surprise hit of 2015. If Ubisoft thinks Fractured But Whole needs more cream to sooth its development sores, then we should let them rub it in and good.
