Splatoon 2 Single Player Mode Shines in Half-Hour E3 Video

During E3 earlier this week, Nintendo showed off a half hour of Splatoon 2 single player. Viewers will be able to check out a lot of content from the upcoming game.

Splatoon 2 Single Player

In the demo, the players start the journey to find Callie of the Squid Sisters. Players will be able to use different weapons throughout each level as well as upgrade them over time. There are even things like giant rollers you can use to smack enemies with. Each part of the game will have different objectives and obstacles that players have to overcome. Making use of “ink” to move up is a must to progress.

A few of the levels will allow traveling on “rails” but the best part is that you can still shoot while moving.

The final part of the video features a boss fight against something called “Octo Samurai” that actually rides a unicycle.

The game has shaped up nicely and looks like a lot of fun whether playing alone or with friends.

Splatoon 2 is set for release on July 21st. You can learn more on its official site.
