Springtide in Dauntless Means Egg Hunting Madness

Dauntless

A new event has just launched into Dauntless. This time, players won’t be sent off on quests to hunt the ever-dangerous Behemoths but will instead be off to find eggs during the Springtide event. The event runs from now through April 23rd.

Springtide comes to the game along with the Vernal Equinox and players are challenged to three-part quests to find eggs scattered across an island. They are tasked with “traveling to a specified location to herd in the Shattered Isles’ furriest new residents — the Pufflehops — and then finally protecting the Pufflehops from a Styxian invasion”. As players complete these quests, they will earn carrot chips that can be spent at a special vendor for cosmetic items, emotes, and more.

To begin the Springtide event, players need to:

  • travel to Ramsgate and speak with Markus the Bosun
  • choose the Event Hunt Map in the menu

The update also comes with a number of quality of life improvements and a bevy of bug fixes. You can check out the full patch note on the Dauntless official site.
