Star Ocean fans will be excited to hear that Square Enix has announced the release of a new mobile JRPG slated for a July release date here in North America. A new RPG in the sci-fi fantasy series, Anamnesis will put players front and center as the captain of a squad of heroes traveling all over the galaxy. With a wide range of characters from the Star Ocean universe at your disposal, it will be up to you to create a host of teams to take on the many challenges that await. Form teams from a mix of attackers, sharpshooters, defenders, invokers and healers to strike out in the galaxy and save the day.
Being built from the ground of up for the mobile audience, Anamnesis will feature streamlined and mobile-specific controls allowing for Swiffer real-time combat. Players can expect to see a beautifully rendered 3D graphics experience and will even have the option to use a new co-op multiplayer mode.
