Star Trek Online has been one of my go-to MMORPGs since it launched. As a lifelong Trek fan it gives me great joy to play it and write about it as well. Everything from the most recent storyline led up to one event at the end of the last episode, Red Shift.
The end of the episode brought out the truth about who the characters were searching for, Lieutenant Ilia. Yes, that Ilia. The one from The Motion Picture. It was a movie that makes you wonder about things. Then you watch Star Trek The Next Generation and learn about the Borg. All of a sudden you think back to that first motion picture and realize that Ilia and Decker were most likely the first humanoid Borg.
We are journeying into the Mirror-verse again in the trailer and we see lots of fighting. Ship combat and away missions show off some interesting areas and they even show mirror Janeway. So, in essence, Stormfall picks right up from where Shadow’s Advance left off. There are a couple of new episodes, and updated tutorial, and other such events. It launches today May 10th 2022 on PC and in June for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
