Starfighter Inc. has successfully met its KickStarter goals. This means that fans and backers will soon see the game come to life. Developers call it “Counter-Strike Meets World of Warships…in space“.
Starfighter Inc. – Hardcore space combat
During the game, players sit in the cockpit of a ship to prepare for hardcore shooter game play. It’s likened to X-Wing vs TIE Fighter but is said to be more advanced in the technology it shows. Its hallmark is that it utilizes “real science”, so much so, in fact, that it has earned the Atomic rocket’s Seal of Approval.
From the beginning we have worked with aerospace engineers and space scientists to create designs for scientifically accurate future spacecraft and weapons and to better understand the realities of combat in a deep space environment.
But it’s more than guns and dying for good – developers are working to make something more than “just a shooter” by combining storytelling, great ships along with an amazing setting.
