State of Survival, the mobile zombie fuelled survival game is getting a crossover with The Day of The Dead.
If you’ve been happily chewing through the recent incarnation of the Romero classic film series then there’s even more Day of the Dead coming for you. State of Survival, the build and survive mobile adventure is getting its very own Day of The Dead crossover. Mobile developer and publisher FunPlus confirmed the news last night just as the event shambled its way onto iOS and Android devices.
As of right now, players can head into State of Survival and participate in the event. The Tv series, which you may have found over on SyFy, is focused on a group of six survivors, struggling to get by after a zombie outbreak. This time around, players in this mobile world will need to solve a mysterious message to win in-game prizes, before the event ends on January 31st. What the message is and how to solve it, well FunPlus is leaving that up to the community to find out, although we’d keep an eye on the official social media pages for more information.
This isn’t the first crossover we’ve seen from tht title, with the more recent Joker update getting Bantam’s nemesis causing chaos, and the The Walking Dead making its own appearance in the base builder. State of Survival isn’t the only zombie fuelled terror fest available on mobiles either, this one provides a mix of terror and strategy, asking players to build a safe shelter away from the chaos, manage resources, grow, and venture out for supplies when required.
