Moving Out, the chaotic new multiplayer game from Team 17, just unpacked a new demo for eager gamers.
While the four walls continue to look even more imposing this morning here at Gamespace it seems reasonable to start looking at escaping. Fortunately, SMG Studios and publisher Team 17 are giving us all a little escape across Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, and Xbox One. A demo for the upcoming co-op game where cartoon avatars pack to pitch the contents of a house out the front door, window, or whatever exit is available in order to move out.
Over and Out
Pitched as something between Overcooked and a trip to the storage yard, Moving Out is a bright top down title that puts players in the show of a moving team named F.A.R.T. The Furniture Arrangement and Relocation Technicians work together in teams of up to four and are tasked with picking up and relocating the contents of a house into an appropriately roomy moving truck. This might sound straight forward but the task isn’t always particularly lift and shift. Some objects require multiple hands, will only fit in certain directions and the entire operation can come with its own modifiers.
While Moving Out isn’t likely to have ou screaming at the couch to chop faster, Moving Out is a chaotic mess in the best sense. We’ve had a chance to go hands on with it at last year’s EGX game expo and can’t wait to escape these four walls when it arrives on 24 April. To find out more about the game, check out the trailer above or head over to the official website. Alternatively just head over to the Nintendo eShop, Playstation Store, or Microsoft Game Store to grab the Moving Out demo now, lift with your leg, and watch out for breakables!.
