Paradox Interactive has published a teaser trailer for Stellaris: Apocalypse which is going to redefine stellar warfare for all players with a host of new offensive (you can quite literally blow up planets!) and defensive options as well as new non-violent features.
Explore a vast galaxy full of wonder! Paradox Development Studio, makers of the Crusader Kings and Europa Universalis series presents Stellaris, an evolution of the grand strategy genre with space exploration at its core.
The Apocalypse DLC will include:
- New “Colossus” planet-killer weapon – a technological terror that will keep the local systems in line with fear
- Enormous “Titan” capital ships will lead your vast fleets to conquest
- Marauders – the space nomads – raid settled empires and carve out their lives on the fringe of civilization. You can hire them as mercenaries to do your bidding, but watch out for being stabbed in the back!
- New Ascension perks and Civics are added as well as new Unity Ambitions
