Lince Works has released a new developer walkthrough for Aragami 2. The video is designed to provide viewers with a firsthand peek at the game’s strategic combat and stealth enhancements since the release of the first game. The team showcases the evolution of the stealth-action franchise ahead of its September 17th release. Players will be able to play on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
A2 builds on the stealthy game play of the first game in the series but improves on it in several key ways. Players will have more mobility to maneuver more successfully from shadow to shadow. If those attempts at stealthy navigation fail, however, players are not helpless. According to developers, A2 is “inspired by some of the best action games around” and allows players to engage in skill-based combat in a strategic manner. Knowing when to strike and retreat will be key because standing toe-to-toe with enemies will probably fail.
The original Aragami hooked fans with a stealth-focused game inspired by classic ninja experiences like Tenchu and rooted in the lore of a beautifully crafted world. The addition of the all-new strategic combat system takes what Tenchu made popular and elevates it to loftier heights. Even better, Aragami 2’s gripping narrative can be experienced in full completely solo or with friends as a co-op stealth-action adventure. The Aragami clan, known as Kurotsuba, must utilize their power as they attempt to fight back against the invading Akatsuchi Empire.
