Developer BlueTwelve Studio and publisher Annapurna Interactive have shared the launch trailer for Stray – a third-person adventure game that follows a lost cat’s journey through a cybercity. Roam surroundings high and low, defend against unforeseen threats and solve the mysteries of this unwelcoming place inhabited by curious droids and dangerous creatures.
In order to escape the confines of the city, players will have to be stealthy and nimble – but it is not all dark and gloom in the neon-lit alleys. The game will allow playful interactions with the environment that will see the furry protagonist behave in silly and sometimes even outright annoying ways.
Along the way, the cat befriends a small flying drone, known only as B-12. With the help of this newfound companion, the duo must find a way out.
So far, the game has received overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam, with the users praising graphics, world interactions, music and more. In short, it’s a purrfect game for cat lovers!
