Stray Got a New Hotfix

Stray Got a New Hotfix

Stray, a purrfect third-person cat adventure from BlueTwelve Studios and Annapurna, got its second hotfix that addresses some of the things players have been asking for.

Since its release on July 19, Stray got overwhelmingly positive response from the Steam community. The story of a cat lost in a cybercity and fighting for a way out won over the hears of the audience. In order to escape the confines of the city populated by robots, players will have to be stealthy and nimble – but it is not all dark and gloom in the neon-lit alleys. The game will allow playful interactions with the environment that will see the furry protagonist behave in silly and sometimes even outright annoying ways.

Among other changes, the update includes:

  • Adds additional fullscreen options including proper exclusive fullscreen support
  • Engine fix for some users who are unable to boot due to GPU driver issues
  • Additional checks to prevent VR headsets from interfering with the game client
  • Collision fixes to prevent going out of world
  • Uncapped framerate option is now on the right instead of the left
  • Localization fixes for German
  • Fix for scratch trophy for keyboard and mouse players

“Thank you all for all of your wonderful support of the game and to those of you who sent us detailed bug reports. We are so grateful for the information and look forward to Patch 3! We’ll keep you all updated as we continue to improve Stray!”
