Strayed Lights Manifests on PC and Console

Embers has announced that Strayed Lights is now available on multiple gaming systems, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The PC version is available through Steam, GoG, or Epic Games Store. Players can purchase a copy of the action-adventure title for $24.99.

Developers are celebrating the game‘s launch with a new trailer setting the stage for their immersive and haunting game. Viewers will get a peek at many of the environments they’ll be traveling through as well as a look at gameplay action.

The game puts players in the unusual role of a glowing ember of light on a journey of transcendence. Players will encounter creatures that will challenge their gameplay abilities along the way. They’ll shift between various colored states of being, effectively the game’s ability system. Each color represents a different way to parry enemy attacks. Timed correctly, these attacks can absorb their enemy’s energy to empower stronger, high-damage strikes. The goal is to master the rhythm of the game’s combat.

Players will embark on an epic adventure anchored by a hauntingly beautiful world filled with “shimmering fauna” and enormous ruins. The story is told in a non-dialog-based narrative and through hand-painted art. It is wrapped in an incredible soundtrack composed by Grammy award-winning artist Austin Wintory.

“We are delighted for action-adventure fans to begin their journeys through Strayed Lights’ enchanting and kinetic realm today,” says Alexandre Arramon, co-founder and creative director at Embers. “We are incredibly grateful for the positive response from the community so far. We can’t wait to further immerse players with the colorful new ideas we’ve conceived. For now, we invite everyone to explore the meticulously crafted universe by supporting our debut title across modern platforms. Dive deeper into the game world through its premium artbook. Enjoy the mesmerizing soundtrack by Austin Wintory.”
