To participate in the on-going closed alpha test for Anthem you have to sign an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) that basically makes sure you are not discussing what you have seen and played, share screenshots, videos or streams and so forth. But apparently, not everyone got the memo.
So.
The Alpha’s on.
And I’m seeing some chatter about connectivity issues to the servers.
2 things:
1. This is one of the primary purposes of the test.
2. You are actually in violation of your NDA if you are publicly discussing issues you are having.— Mark Darrah (@BioMarkDarrah) December 8, 2018
A streamer named smothethrone has decided to earn some quick hits by showing his subscribers the latest Bioware game despite it being forbidden by the NDA. Allegedly, his viewers had repeatedly warned him of the fact but the streamer pressed on.
At some point, the streamer’s Origin has stopped responding and he forced it closed to restart but only found his Origin Game Library wiped clean. Apparently, representatives of Electronic Arts had managed to track the streamer’s account and punish him for breaking rules. That’s why you read NDA before pressing on!
Before starting the video, take note that Twitch chat is being what Twitch chat usually is.
