Google Play has published a new blog post that contains the results of the team’s analysis on the best & most popular apps, games, music, TV shows and books in 2017. Nintendo’s Super Mario Run was the most downloaded game of the year, closely followed by Bubble Witch 3 Saga.
Sadly, the blog post does not provide the exact numbers. However, to put matters into some perspective, back in October Nintendo has shared that Super Mario Run has achieved a new milestone: 200 million downloads.

Super Mario Run can be downloaded for free and after you purchase the game, you will be able to play all the modes with no additional payment required. You can try out all four modes before purchase: World Tour, Toad Rally, Remix 10, and Kingdom Builder.
