If you want to play Surgeon Simulator 2 free of charge then there’s just one way to get your hands bloody, go to medical school!
Surgeon Simulator 2 developer Bossa Studios has just announced that Surgeon Simulator 2 is set to be free of charge for National Health Service (NHS) workers in the UK as part of its new NHS: National Handout of Surgeon Simulator initiative – or NHSNHSS for short.
For those of you that haven’t pulled on the virtual gloves, Surgeon Simulator 2 is the follow up to the iconic Surgeon Simulator game. The physics-based bucket of gore, challenges players to strap on a mask and clamber into the operating room for the second time, stitching up wounds, sawing off erroneous body parts, and plugging leaks across a range of virtual meat sacks. While your average NHS surgeon might be better placed to succeed than the rest of us, the amped-up physics and zany challenges shouldn’t make it a return to work for anybody grabbing this game for free.
Hack and Slash
In addition to the expected solo surgery, the sequel features an all-new co-operative multiplayer, in which budding surgeons can play with up-to-three other players to tackle everything from heart transplants to limb replacements. There’s also a brand-new story mode featuring new operations for players to make a hash out of as they explore a mysterious medical facility.
