Bossa Studios has announced that Surgeon Simulator 2 – Access All Areas will be launching on September 2, 2021 on PC via Steam and the Windows Store as well as for Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The announcement came alongside an all-new trailer to showcase some of the game’s locations and gameplay.
SS2 contains many of the familiar features found in the original game as well as several new features. These include more user-generated maps, optimization, and completely retooled character models. According to the dev team, Bob, Milo, Penny, Kamal, and Heather look “better than ever”.
Other features include:
- 4-player story campaign
- competitive mode with up to four players able to challenge each other to perform inaccurate surgeries for hilarious results
- 4k graphics and 60 FPS on Xbox Series X/S consoles
- compatible with Smart Delivery
- Steam Wishlist milestones will unlock exclusive in-game cosmetics
