The rumors were true and we could not be more thrilled! The Pokemon Company has released an official announcement trailer for Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! – the first major Pokémon release for the Nintendo Switch.
While we don’t have all of the details yet, it looks like there will be some manner of cross-play between Pokémon GO! and the Let’s Go games. At present, it looks like there will be some in-game bonuses, but we are not sure if this will allow you to transfer Pokémon between games. Alongside this feature, the Let’s Go games will feature couch co-op multiplayer and support a Pokéball peripheral which will be usable with Pokémon GO! as well.
With E3 right around the corner, we look forward to hearing more news out of Nintendo. Let’s Go, Pikachu and Let’s Go, Eevee! will take us back to the Kanto Region on November 16th, 2018 to experience the magic of where it all began. You can find out more on the official site.
