Team Bloober has dropped a new trailer for the upcoming release of The Medium on PlayStation 5
Owners of Sony’s brand new next-gen console might still be few and far between but they are about to get a new enhanced release to add to their collection. Team Bloober dropped a new PlayStation 5 trailer for The Medium. Unveiled during the rush of news that is Gamescom, this new trailer gives players who bagged a PlayStation 5 what they can expect from the newly enhanced supernatural thriller from the team behind System Shock.
The latest trailer showcases key elements of the game’s story and features both primary locations and protagonists, including the Hound – a mysterious entity from the spirit world. The haunting audio work, Beyond the Shore, by Akira Yamaoka and Arkadiusz Reikowski, and performed by Mary Elizabeth McGlynn features, as well as a look at the stunning graphics.
For those of you that didn’t catch our earlier review of this thriller., The Medium is a supernatural adventure stuck between two worlds. Playing the part of a medium who can slip between the land of the living and dead, you’ll be dragged into the events behind an abandoned hotel. Based around real world locations, this desolate hotel holds a myriad of memories and horrors that players must escape.
The Xbox release appeared earlier this year when it also came to PCs. Now, layers can head to the PlayStation Store to pre-order the game at the price of $49.99/€49,99/£41.74 with a 10% off discount for PS Plus members before launch. Players who pre-order the game will receive the digital Original Soundtrack (by Akira Yamaoka and Arkadiusz Reikowski) and The Art of The Medium (digital artbook).
