Torn Banner Studios has announced that Chivalry 2 has received the limited-time Midsommar event, a festival “that would make any Agathian shriek in terror”. Players will be able to join in the festivities and take part in the brand new Brawl Mode map during Midsommar.
Brawl Mode turns anything that can be picked up into a weapon. It’s time for fists, chairs, beehives, caskets, and anything else that can be hefted into one’s hands. Being a successful brawler has its rewards as well. Players can take home a number of goodies for their participation including:

- Midsommar Pole
- Wood Hammer
- Flower Vase
- Environmental Objects
- Mini-catapult (interactable)
- Straw figures

Players can also score some deep discounts on both Chivalry 2 and Chivalry 2 Special Edition. PlayStation players can take home either for 40% off through July 6th. Steam players can also take 40% off through July 7th.
