Airship Syndicate just rolled surprise and came up with a stunning Critical Role x Wayfinder collaboration and a release date, all scheduled for 21 October 2024.
Heroes, adventurers, and those of us who spend most of our time loitering around Skylight, there’s a touch of D&D magic coming to Wayfinder. The studio behind this boisterous RPG has just announced that it is set to drop an upcoming DLC pack that allows a little of the iconic Vox Machina and friends into the far flung world of Wayfinder. You might find yourself asking why? Aside from the lineage between tabletop dungeon runs and modern fantasy RPGs, there are plenty of fans that will probably appreciate the opportunity to rep their favourite Twitch team in game.

The incoming update is a paid DLC, but for $19.99, the Wayfinder – Critical Role Supporter Pack includes:
- 4 Character Personas
- 1 Mount & Saddle
- 4 Character Charms
- 15 Housing Items
- 10 Sprays
As this is all cosmetic, it’s not going to impact the gameplay, but there is plenty coming that will.
Updates
With a recent return to life on PlayStation stores, the second Quality of Life update is coming. Due to drop on PlayStation 5 today, the update brings across a bunch of essential changes from the realm of PC.
- Discord Invites – Steam players can now seamlessly invite friends to join their games directly through Discord
- Housing Expansion – The new multi-story apartment option offers spacious rooms, vaulted ceilings, and a stunning balcony view, providing a perfect canvas to showcase the hundreds of collectible items scattered throughout the world.
- World Scaling – optional world scaling has been added to ensure balanced gameplay across all areas. This new feature adjusts enemy levels, encounter difficulty, and loot drops based on the player’s current level, offering a tailored and challenging experience.
- Improved Melee Combat Control – Players can now enjoy smoother, more fluid melee interactions, with full directional control throughout the entire swing animation, making it easier to land attacks and execute combos.
- Performance & UI Customization – Players can now toggle features like shadows, ambient occlusion, and post-processing effects, as well as enjoy faster load times and reduced stuttering during gameplay.
Version 1.0 Launch Date
