The Talking Tom franchise has hopped on board to promote eco-friendly gaming in the Green Game Jam 2024
Talking Tom and his rabble of fun-loving compatriots are out to go green this year. Outift7, the studio behind hit pet sim Talking Tom, has announced that Tom and his friends are joining the Green Game Jam 2024. For players in a number of titles this means new events, additions, and a focus on helping keep the planet in good shape.
In In Talking Tom Gold Run, players are set to switch colors and go green. Instead of chasing gold, keep an eye out for litter along the way. As you speed through familiar streets, grab Trash Bag Tokens and toss discarded plastic into recycling bins. While you’ll see the world gradually revert to a gorgeous green globe, there are rewards for doing good. Collect enough trash and you could bag diamonds, gold bars, dynamite, and the exclusive Eco Angela outfit.

Getting off the streets, in My Talking Tom Friends, players can earn tokens and skill stars for cleaning up garbage in and around the in-game house. Throughout the green Game Jam, you’ll be able to use a range of fertilizer and garden seeds to grow a range of veg. Clear up and then head into the gardening mini game to see lettuce, tomatoes, and onions sprout up to the sun and make delicious meals. Just remember to clean up your trash after Tom and Friends eat.
