Light the candles, prepare the cake, and get ready to celebrate the 10th anniversary of a chattering tomcat. Outfit7 has a habit of kicking off yearly festivities for their feline friends, but 10 is a considerable number, and Talking Tom 2 is set to get an equally huge set of events.
Players logging into the hugely successful virtual pet sim will find a surprise party, where players will be able to earn the biggest rewards ever.
We don’t know what’s in store for Talking Tom, but it’s likely to mean fans of this long running franchise will get plenty out of it. The anthropomorphic cat arrived on mobile screens back in 2013 as a friendly face for players to take care of. Over that initial launch, he developed a sizeable fan base for his hijinks. Since then, he’s gained a loyal bunch of friends and spawned a range of other mobile titles, including Talking Angela and Time Rush. Things expanded into an online cartoon series, but the core of his success remains the Talking Tom games.
