Impact Gameworks have sent out a letter announcing that their roguelike dungeon crawler Tangledeep will get a Nintendo Switch version in 2018. More details on Switch version will be shared at a later point. The game is already available to players through Steam Early Access.
More about Tangledeep:
Tangledeep is a dungeon-crawling tribute to the golden age of RPGs, inspired by the lively visuals and music of such classic games as Secret of Mana and Chrono Trigger. Its strategic, turn-based gameplay combines the accessibility and polish of these games, and draws from a rich history of roguelikes from NetHack to Shiren the Wanderer and even modern dungeon crawlers like Diablo. Players can approach the titular, ever-changing labyrinth in a myriad of ways, using the game’s robust character job system and huge assortment of equipment to create a unique experience with each playthrough.
The latest update introduced Moster Corral. Players are now given an opportunity to capture any monster and add them to their very own corral in Riverstone Grove. Each monster has unique stats and traits and will respond differently to their corral neighbours. It is up for players to provide them with proper care and love so that a happy creature would accompany them in their travels.
Over time, captured monsters will develop relationships with one another and can be bred to hatch new monsters that share similar characteristics and stats to that of their parents. With careful selection, players can breed and raise the ultimate, unique monster pet!
