Riot Games has announced that Teamfight Tactics’ second Revival will launch Dawn of Heroes on 25 September.
Teamfight Tactics, the strategic battler based in the Riot universe, is about to bring a new limited time game mode to the fight. Dawn of Heroes brings a second revival set to the game on 25 September. Brining a new twist to gameplay in the free to play adventure, the incoming update will add a new progression system, a revival ladder and new ways to utilize your heroes.
Dawn of heroes has been here before. Revivals are temporary game modes where Teamfight Tactics revitalize old champions and traits from previous sets, but with updates and improvements. These changes mean more than just temporary QoL additions to flagging characters. The heroic Pengu will now drop onto your board to grant blessings and help heroic units. Augments are now a thing, so Dawn of Heroes will get these for the first time. Finally, you can expect to see changes to the Abomination trait, where the Monstrosity equips an axe to do additional cleave damage, and Threshe’s abilities. You can find out what exactly those are in the official website.
Coming in as a revamped take on an older set, the second revival comes after the galaxies set got its own revival event earlier this year. If you’re a turn based tactical whizz looking for something new to put on the board then you can find out more, or check out now to play over on the official channels. Teamfight Tactics is available now, for free, on PC and mobiles.
