Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge Announced

Tribute Games, Nickelodeon, and Dotemu have thrilled a generation of gamers with the announcement of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge. The side-scrolling beat-em-up game is headed to PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch at an indeterminate date but is celebrated by the developers with a brand new trailer. The game is based on classic TMNT games from an earlier era, particularly those released for Game Boy Advance.

Leonardo, Raphael, Michaelangelo, and Donatello reunite to “kick shell” that harkens back to the original 1987 classic design. The Turtles will leap and bash their way across Manhattan to the sound of Faith No More’s Mike Patton.

With Bebop and Rocksteady amassing gizmos to support Krang and Shredder’s latest scheme, TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge finds the turtles battling through a breathless tour of iconic TMNT locations to thwart their nemeses’ most diabolical plan yet. Armed with shell-shocking new abilities built on a foundation of classic brawling mechanics, the gang are in for an exhilarating, Foot Clan-stomping romp leading them through the sewers and bustling boroughs of New York City all the way to Dimension X.

Check out the trailer and then head to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge official site.
