TennoCon 2021, the annual assembly of all things Warframe, is coming to screens on 17 July for free.

Due to begin transmission on 17 July and broadcast a day packed with Warframe content, TennoCon is the ongoing digital event built specifically for fans of Digital Extreme’s hit online multiplayer adventure, Warframe. Like many conventions and yearly celebrations, this particular event will be entirely online, with Covid-19 continuing to impact our ability to see fellow gamers in person and feel the heat of a badly ventilated convention centre.

On the upside, however, TennoCon has always been, much like EvE’s own yearly activities, something special for players and the at home experience is expected to be just as epic this time around. If other TennoCons are anything to go by we can expect a full day of game reveals, in-game activities, developer panels, the fan favorite community art show, a cosplay contest that also now includes pet cosplay, and 60 million players. While we do not have a definitive list of the upcoming events, we do know that there will be a merch stand, of sorts.

In partnership this year with Unity Project for Relief of Homelessness, Digital Extremes’ three TennoCon digital packs give players the chance to jump into the fun for a great cause. The TennoCon Digital Pack ($24.99 USD) is an exclusive collection of in-game cosmetics, items and Baro’s Relay; the TennoCon Merchandise Pack ($44.99 USD) includes exclusive physical TennoCon gear (commemorative T-shirt, pin, lanyard and acrylic charm, badge, and more). And the TennoCon Bundle ($64.99 USD) combines both Digital and Merch Packs at a discounted rate. You can check out the cost, grab a pack, and support the Unity Project over at the official website.

“Unity Project is excited to partner with Digital Extremes and for the opportunity to engage the gaming industry in solutions to the growing crisis of homelessness in cities and towns everywhere,” said Chuck Lazenby, Executive Director, Unity Project for Relief of Homelessness. “The COVID-19 pandemic further exposed system gaps and failures but it also mobilized a system response and an appetite for real change. We are grateful for our partnership with Digital Extremes and for the progress we can make together to ensure that housing, with appropriate supports, is accessible to all as the solution to homelessness.”

This TennoCon confirmation comes as Warframe is busy ramping up its 8th anniversary celebrations. The upstart sci-fi multiplayer that now has a dedicated fan base and a legacy of upsetting the odds doesn’t look set to go quiet any time soon. You can prep for TennoCon or just jump into a new railjack mission on PC, Xbox, Playsaton4, and Nintendo Switch now.
