Terra Nil Shared the Accolades Trailer

Developer Free Lives and publisher Devolver Digital have shared the accolades trailer for the reverse city-builder Terra Nil, containing a number of critics’ opinions.

Additionally, the publisher has announced that in a week since its launch the game has reached over 300,000 players. But that’s not all. Beyond that player count, Devolver Digital and Free Lives’ charitable efforts have led to just under 50,000 trees being planted around the world:

“Free Lives is donating 8% of its profits from sales of Terra Nil on Steam to the Endangered Wildlife Trust – making it more than just a good game – it’s a game for good. An army of eco-conscious streamers and their viewers—the Terra Nil Tree Warriors, organized by Tree-Nation—planted 45,528 trees around the world, capturing 5,964 tonnes of CO2 across 43 hectares of reforested land. About the game:

Unlike other city-builders, strategies and managers, Terra Nil is a strategy game about transforming a barren wasteland into a thriving ecosystem, recycling your own buildings and then leaving without a trace. Turn dead soil into fertile grassland, clean polluted oceans, plant sprawling forests, and create the ideal habitat for animals to call home.
