Terra Nil is coming to Nintendo Switch next week.
Players looking to clean up their gamin backlog might have to wait a little longer if developer Free Lives has anything to do with it. The team behind environmental adventure Terra Nil will release this surprisingly addictive experience on Nintendo Switch consoles on 18 December. The news follows on from a mobile and PC release that had us clicking away our environmental outrage.
For those that didn’t catch it already, the upcoming release is a chill experience that uses advanced technology to transform a barren landscape into a vibrant eco system. By placing plants and constructing the correct infrastructure you’ll be able to transform an isometric wasteland into something new. Purify soil, clean oceans, plant trees, reintroduce wildlife—then recycle everything and move on, leaving no trace you were ever there.
Along the way, players can overcome a range of procedurally generated biomes. This includes volcanic glaciers, ruined cities, and tropical islands. Overcome four regions of this digital world, then take on an additional challenge with a range of alternate levels. If you haven’t picked up Terra Nil for free over on the Netflix Games Store, then this is the perfect opportunity to ease your way through December. Check out more on the official website now.
