tERRORbane, a new adventure into the world of game breaking bugs and comedic glitches is out tomorrow on PC and Nintendo Switch.
We’ve all seen the TV ad, right? Video game testing is just playing your favorite title for hours on end and ‘tightening up the graphics’? Now, you’ll get a chance to see if you can QA the heck out of a chaotic JRPG in tERRORbane. Available today on PC and Nintendo Switch, this brand-new adventure delves into the weird creation of The Developer and challenges new players to complete this throwback to a whole basket full of genres, and more than a few bugs.
Developed by Italian indie studio BitNine Studio and publisher WhisperGames, tERRORbane is full of homages to classic gaming names. You will likely notice the influence of Final Fantasy and Zelda, as well as other modern classics. Despite the influence of some sublime design, The Developer has some rather unusual ideas when it comes to level design. As a QA master, you can pick up a D-Pad and battle through an extra-large jumble of clumsily wired together ideas. Whether it’s classic RPG dungeons, DDR inspired minigames, tabletop card battling, or pet battles this expedition into the chaotic mind of The Developer is likely to be something we’re not going to forget.
After grabbing the award for Best original indie and years of development, you can help this comedic caper over the line with a bit of QA testing. Just check out the trailer above and head over to the official Nintendo eShop page or Steam Store for more. tERRORbane is available now on Nintendo Switch and Steam for $15.99 USD with a 10% launch week discount.
