The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics gets a release date

En Masse Entertainment and BonusXP have announced that The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics is ready to make its debut on February 4, 2020. The turn-based tactical RPG will be released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

The game is a tie in for the Netflix series and “reimagines the world of The Dark Crystal as a tactical strategy game”. It has been developed by a group with “decades of developer experience”. Those who are familiar with this type of game will find deep and challenging gameplay mechanics while new players will be eased into gameplay in an intuitive way.

With over 15 unique characters and jobs to build a party with, players can experiment with hundreds of different unit combinations to form strategies that fit their playstyle. As players explore the fantasy world of Thra, they will embark on an epic quest to unite the seven Gelfling clans against the evil Skeksis in a never-seen-before sidestory that runs parallel to the Netflix Original Series from earlier this year.”
