The Arkham franchise is back and it’s VR. WB Games just revealed a trailer for Batman: Arkham Shadow.
The latest instalment in the wildly popular Arkham series is coming and it’s in VR. A teaser trailer just dropped for Batman: Arkham Shadow. Coming exclusively to Meta Quest 3, the new immersive adventure heads to the iconic Gothic City, where only one caped crusader can save it.
While the new teaser doesn’t give potential players a glimpse of the in game engine, it sets the scene for the upcoming caper. Set in the chaotic backstreets of Gotham’s rougher district, less than a minute is enough to establish that this is going to be more than a simple rehash of Batman: Arkham VR. That Batman never made it onto Meta platforms, so it will be intriguing to see what it can do. The new instalment in this superhero series is also likely to stay exclusive to Facebook owned series. It comes to these small screens thanks to Oculus Studio and in house studio Camoflaj.
We don’t have a release date for Batman: Arkham Shadow, but players will get more information during Summer Game Fest on June 7, 2024. Until then, practice fitting your cowl beneath the Meta Quest 3 headset. Keep an eye on the Meta Quest Gaming page for more.
