The Elder Scrolls Online for PC Brings Gates of Oblivion Story to an End

Bethesda has announced that the final chapter in The Elder Scrolls Online year-long adventure, Gates of Oblivion, has been deployed for PC, Mac, and Stadia players. PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One players will have to wait until November 16th to enjoy the new content.

In the Deadlands DLC, players will be entering new territory where they will meet new allies, and “foil Dagon’s plans to rule Nirn”. According to the development team, the final chapter in Gates of Oblivion is 20+ hours and is packed with new missions that are unlocked as players complete storylines in both the Deadlands and Blackwood Chapter DLCs.

Those who’ve played The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will recognize some parts of the Deadlands from the BGS classic, but captivating new regions also await in The Burn, The Sever, and the desert metropolis known as Fargrave. From molten rivers to vicious storms to a bustling city of trade, these new areas expand The Elder Scrolls lore in new directions to capture the imaginations of even the most dedicated Elder Scrolls fan.

Deadlands also introduces the new Armory system that allows players to swap custom character builds from their Homestead. All players will be able to claim the free Armory Station furnishing item from the Crown Store. It can be placed in any home where players can save, load, or customize their characters’ builds.
