The Falconeer lands on PC and Xbox Series X / S consoles today and this new flight of fancy might be worth a look if you are sick of trudging your way through the same old RPG adventures.
For any of you lucky enough to get an early hands-on with Microsoft’s latest gaming platform, you can jump on board and take to the skies as The Falconeer launches today across this new generation of gaming. PC player, will, of course, get to join the in-flight adventure as developer Tomas Sala and Wired Productions launch this up in the air RPG. For those of you that haven’t heard of The Falconeer, this unique open-air combat RPG thrusts players into a world where mystery lies beyond the Great Ursee. Unlike Sea of Thieves, you won’t have to go by boat, however. Taking the reigns on board a range of massive warbirds, you’ll soar out above the open ocean. As you expand your horizon you’ll find coastlines littered with treasure, mysteries, and enemies to take down.
The Falconeer’s open world environment is no doubt going to benefit from the next gen enhancements coming to the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles. Across the game’s 12 hours of playtime, an expansive environment is supported by the SSD tech and data transfer rates only available to fully fledged PC gaming rigs in the past, with load times as low as 13 seconds. Players will also expect to experience the Falconeer at up to 120FPS in performance mode, making this a gorgeous looking title.
