’Tis the season! With Version 2.7 Special Program right around the corner, the developers of turn-based RPG Honkai: Star Rail are teasing the upcoming characters from the future update. The first on the list is the woman, the vision, the wonder herself: The Herta, the real deal compared to the puppets Trailblazers have met so far.

The Herta – 5-star Ice Erudition
To the surprise of no one, an Emanator of Erudition continues to walk the Path of Erudition. Despite the new 5-star kit and appearance, The Herta sticks to her guns (or hammers) and remains Ice as well. Having THE Herta arrive in the flesh… Are we in for a new Simulated Universe update, too?
It will be interesting to see what sets her apart from the existing 4-star version that’s already ripping apart the Pure Fiction. Or if you can use the two together for some extra Hertallion twirling damage!
Esteemed member #83 of the Genius Society, human, female, young, beautiful, attractive. It’s said that she lives in the far edge of the Cosmos, almost never leaving. Sounds like her appearance this time… must be to deal with an issue that has to be handled herself, right?

So, I gave them a suggestion — if they dared to write that, then I would call myself THE Herta. It’s short, simple, straight to the point, and elegant.”
Aglaea – 5-star Lightning Remembrance
The Web had been filled with rumors of a new playable Path, and the official announcement comes with the reveal of Aglaea, a 5-star Lightning Remembrance.
What is the Remembrance all about? Does it stick closer to its narrative role of collecting memories, or its SU version of Freeze and Dissociation? And most importantly, are we getting Black Swan of the Path of Remembrance? Stay tuned to find out, and let’s return back to Aglaea!

New Trailblazer – 5-star Ice Remembrance
Everyone’s favorite trashcan-loving raccoon, the Trailblazer, is in for the new Path right off the bat. Leave Clockie and your stylish hat behind, it’s time to embrace Icy Remembrance!.. Who’s going to provide Superbreak Support for Firefly, Boothill and Rappa while you are exploring Amphoreus though?
Now, where to find enough Remembrance Light Cones to fit everyone… The Herta and MoC/PF/AS store, save us!

The Trailblazer sets sail toward the unknown. Alongside their newest companion, Mem, they will record the adventures and stories they experience in Amphoreus — And “memories” will also flourish eternally, paving the path for the journey ahead and recording glorious sagas.
