Following previously shared Inside the Story & Inside the Gameplay developer diaries, as well as The Last of Us Part II state of play that revealed never-before-seen gameplay footage, the developers from Naughty Dog, shared a new video titled Inside the Details. In it, players can learn all about how the team is bringing the world and characters to life with meticulous detail.
Neil Druckmann reveals that one of the things that makes Naughty Dog unique is the studio’s attention to details which comes from intense research, be it books, movies, interviews, discussions and more. Halley Gross added that the studio’s goal is to create the most authentic characters that you’ve seen in games – not only Ellie and Joel, but all of them.
ABOUT THE LAST OF US PART II
Five years after their dangerous journey across the post-pandemic United States, Ellie and Joel have settled down in Jackson, Wyoming. Living amongst a thriving community of survivors has allowed them peace and stability, despite the constant threat of the infected and other, more desperate survivors.
